Get it while you can. I was m7vib to hook up the front audio ports in my case, so I removed the jumpers, but I discovered that the wires were too short to reach the header. Answered on Dec 02, Answered on Aug 28, I installed the drivers that came with the mb.

I downloaded a driver from MS Update It’s a very rare occurrence and there are other easy fix issues that might make a person think the board is fried. When you have front panel audio ajdio connected to the MB, the circuit is completed by a mechanical shunt inside the audio jack which is activated when nothing is plugged into the jack.
Theres only 1 way m7gig put it in and there should have been NO power on the board at the time.
